Y’all, it’s with great sadness that I share that the sweetest Mrs. Janet has passed. At St. Mark she was part of the “Sunshine” group or perhaps she just was the “Sunshine” group. ~ she gave cards or love messages for birthdays or special days. Even years after St. Mark closed and I had moved I still got random text messages or calls on birthdays or special days with a Sunshine message. She was a confidant and consoler when I was faced with some adversity and I’ll never forget that.
… I won’t forget her endless stories about her boys and husband and her devotion to Fr. Sam, even when times got tough. ~ her homemade meals for coach M, visits to Pope to see me and our 8th graders and just pure goodness.
I don’t have many details other than what Candy K told me (thank you for that) Two “heartaches” and never regaining consciousness…
Huge condolences to the family and all friends and loved ones. 63 is too young.
