Breast cancer doesn't only affect women. Although more women (approximately 287,850) will be diagnosed with the disease this year, men have a higher mortality rate from it, partly because so many don't believe it can affect them.

Awareness for both is at the heart of this initiative. By wearing your BCAM hat, you help spark conversations about early detection and remind those around you that checking in on your health matters, regardless of gender.

We do this in honor of our co-founder, Michele Baum, whose courage and spirit continue to inspire everything we do. Michele's legacy lives on through this campaign and through every hat that makes its way into our community.
