Some of us are quieter, some of us could talk all day 😂 but what keeps it all working is that the mission is the same.

That balance is part of what makes this team strong.

Creating a place where staff can support students while also caring for their own children is part of building a community that values family.

That’s why public speaking at CHEC isn’t just about getting in front of a group. Students learn to notice how they speak, slow down, and become more comfortable communicating their thoughts.

Recess is more than just a break. It’s where friendships grow, conversations happen, and kids get to enjoy being together.

Science gets a lot more interesting when you can actually make the fossil yourself. 🦴

From dinosaur impressions to plaster casts, this gives students a chance to see how the process works instead of only reading about it.

Communication is about connecting with people, not just speaking in front of them.

At CHEC, students learn to express themselves in different ways, whether they’re speaking, dancing, listening, or working with others.

Every opportunity helps them become more confident using their voice.
