Stanley-Boyd Head Start 3k Head Start and Early Head Start (0-3) program. Children learn by observing, exploring and interacting with materials and other people.

What we offer.....

3 Year Old Pre-School

-3 half days per week
- free nutritious meals
-Monthly educational home visits

4 Year Old Kindergarten (4K)/Head Start

- full day services/4 days per week
-2 free nutritious meals
-Transportation as available

Early Head Start



-Serving pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers (0-3)
-Two socializations per month with free nutritious meals
-Weekly home visits

Precious Care Day Care - Wrap around and all day child care services. CESA #11 Head Start’s philosophy is that children learn best when fully involved and self-directed in their learning. This child-centered philosophy supports our belief that children are unique individuals who learn at different rates and in their own ways. It is our responsibility to allow each child the opportunity to grow and develop to his/her fullest potential in the most nurturing environment possible. In a child-centered classroom, children are encouraged to direct themselves among a variety of child initiated activities, arranged by the teaching staff. In this environment teaching staff function as facilitators, participators and observers of children. We believe parents are an integral part of the child’s learning process. Open communication between teachers and parents is essential. Both teacher and parents work together to plan and facilitate the educational goals for the child. They assist teaching staff with classroom planning, special events, implementation of our curriculum and daily routines.

Dear Current and Former Head Start/Early Head Start Families, Staff, Community Partners, and Community Members,

Strong community partnerships are essential to supporting the success of every child and family enrolled in our Head Start/Early Head Start program. We value the partnerships we have built throughout our communities and appreciate your ongoing support.

This survey gives you the opportunity to share feedback about the support and resources provided through the CESA #11 Head Start/Early Head Start program, as well as your perspectives on community strengths, needs, and opportunities. Your input will help guide program planning and continuous improvement efforts for the coming year and beyond.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. A summary of survey results will be shared on the CESA #11 Head Start website within 30 days after the survey closes. The survey will remain open through June 30, 2026, and will take approximately five minutes to complete.
