Attention DHS Families!

As we kick off our first full week of the school year, Principal Voegeli will be holding student class meetings this Monday, August 24th, in the Aux Gym.

During the class meetings, Mr. Voegeli will connect with each grade level to cover building and program updates, expectations for a successful year, and key dates for big events.

Monday Class Meeting Schedule (Aux Gym):

Freshmen (9th Grade): 8:15 AM

Sophomores (10th Grade): 9:00 AM

Juniors (11th Grade): 9:45 AM

Seniors (12th Grade): 11:00 AM

These meetings ensure all of our Patriots are aligned, informed, and set up for success. Thank you for your continued support, and let’s make it a great week!

Patriots,

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Family Walkthrough Night! It was wonderful seeing our halls filled with students and families getting ready for a fantastic year.

As we count down to Day One, here are a few quick updates:

Tuesday (Tomorrow) – New Student & Freshman Presentation: Join us in the DHS Theatre for an optional orientation session designed to help our new Patriots get acclimated before the doors officially open.

Wednesday – FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: We are so excited to welcome everyone back! Please make sure students arrive by 8:10 AM so they are settled in class and ready to learn when the 8:15 AM bell rings.

Next Monday – Class Meetings: Principal Voegeli will be holding class meetings with all students to cover building and programming updates, expectations, and exciting changes for the school year.

We are ready for a great year ahead! Go Patriots!

Juniors and Families,

We have good news to share about your ACT scores from Spring 2026.

ACT has completed a nationwide review of online school-day test scores and is reissuing updated results. No scores will go down, but some will go up. Updated scores are already posted to MyACT accounts and are being sent directly to high schools.

If you have a MyACT account, log in now to see your latest score.

We'll share more information as we have it. In the meantime, we hope you're seeing good news when you check!

Seating is first come first serve. Come help us congratulation the class of 2026!
