Hope you all can come to the 135th Army Band concert tonight at 6 pm in the BGHS Auditorium. We moved it inside, to not have to worry about the threat of rain. Hope to see you there! Help us spread the word! Will be a great concert.

Today the Bowling Green Band performed at the MSHSAA state large ensemble festival and received an exemplary 1 rating, the top rating possible. This was the first time in 11 years to reach a 1 rating, the last time being in 2012. This season we studied “The Thunderer” by John Phillip Sousa and “Jungle Dance” by Brian Balmages. The members of the band worked very hard in rehearsal and it paid off with a top rating. Congratulations Bowling Green Band!

Selected members of the Bobcat Band performed in Eastern Missouri Conference Band on Monday March 6th, taking place at North Calloway High School. They were led by guest conductor Dr. Brian Silvey, director of Bands at the University of Missouri- Columbia. Congratulations on a great day of playing and learning!

What a great day at the Wright City Marching Invitational. The bowling green band put their practice to the test and had great feedback from the clinicians to help us grow. The class 3 results are as follows. Congratulations band!
