New season new sidewalk! Who likes what we’ve done with our yard? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

We are so excited to kick off Season 19 this Monday at The Beat! Most of our dance & tumbling classes are at full capacity, but there are a few spots left up for grabs! Visit our website https://www.thebeatdancecompany.com/thisseason for an updated schedule and use the “DSP Parent Portal” link to see our most current open spots.

Note that adult tap is on Tuesdays this season at 8:15pm. We have also opened several new sections of tumbling and hip hop & tap/jazz combo classes for dancers age 6-8 on Wednesdays this season.

Registration is now open for our second session of summer tumbling with Coach Phil! Our 5-week session starts July 13 and class offerings include strength & flexibility for cheer/dance, tumbling, and an aerial clinic for kids working toward their aerial. Save the date! Season 19 kicks off at The Beat on Monday, August 31, 2026. A complete schedule of classes in our Recreational Dance & Tumbling Programs can be found on our website. Priority registration for families returning to The Beat opens Saturday, July 11. New families hoping to enroll can do so Saturday, July 18.

Our classes tend to fill quickly! We recommend setting a reminder to register early / guarantee your child’s spot. Competition Company parents - we will enroll your child in Company dance classes for you, so you can skip this reminder (but feel free to share with your friends!).

We’re excited to announce our next hip hop audition class for dancers age 13+ hoping to compete in Season 19 (plus BDC alumni and all who love hip hop) … the one and only Torrance will teach one class on Friday, July 10 from 5:30-6:30pm. Current account holders can now register through DSP. Alumni & guests, message us to join the class. We can’t wait to have Torrance back at The Beat! 😍

Calling all Mini Mover parents ... We are hosting a pop-up "Summer Splash" Mini Movers dance party this Wednesday, June 24 from 10-11:30am at The Beat.

This one-time summer themed dance workshop is open to children age 3-5. Prior experience in dance or enrollment at The Beat is not required! We still have a handful of daytime and evening class spots left in classes with Coach Phil: tumbling for age 5-8 and 9+, aerial clinic for kids who have their cartwheel and want to get their aerial, and strength & flexibility for cheer and dance.

Join us for class with beloved BDC teacher Miranda next week on Tuesday, June 16. Miranda’s pop-up hip hop class serves as a placement audition for our oldest Company dancers & provides a chance to dance for everyone else including BDC/BGDT alumni (and all who love hip hop!)

Tuesday, June 16

Dancers entering 7th-9th grade in the fall 5:30-6:30pm

10th grade and up (alumni, this includes you!) 4:15-5:15pm
