Plant-of-the-Day: Burro's Tail.
Burro's tail is a succulent plant that hangs in the dessert room of the BGSU greenhouse. It's very distinguishable amoung the other plants becuase of its long trailing shoots and beaded appearence. It does well in a relatively dry environment because of its waxy leaf coating that helps to lock in moisture. For this reason it makes a good and hearty house plant, providing a lush and tropical ambiance with minimal maintenance. More information on the Burro's Tail can be found here: http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/cacti-succulents/burros-tail/burros-tail-care.htm
