Today is ! Giving a compliment is a wonderful way to brighten someone’s day or to give credit for a job well done. Give an extra one today and any time it is deserved. Keys to a good compliment: Be sincere, be specific and be mindful about what matters to the other person. Mentioning what they’re really good at or working hard on is a sure way to make them feel proud. No matter who it comes from, a compliment has a powerful effect. It can instill confidence in a child or validate a parent or colleague’s good efforts.
