Reminder to households affected by December severe storms: Kentucky has been granted a USDA Food and Nutrition Service waiver for hot food (ready to eat) products to be considered eligible for purchase with SNAP/EBT when bought through Jan 17, 2022, at authorized retailers in the several counties, listed below. This gives options for healthy meals to families and individuals who do not have access to food storage or cooking facilities due to damage from recent tornadoes and severe storms. Counties: Adair, Allen, Barren, Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Casey, Christian, Crittenden, Daviess, Edmonson, Fulton, Graves, Green, Hancock, Hardin, Hart, Hickman, Hopkins, Larue, Livingston, Logan, Lyon, Marion, Marshall, McClean, McCracken, Metcalfe, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Simpson, Taylor, Todd, Trigg, Warren and Webster.
