Hey BG Alum! 👋 If you’d like to be part of the Beta Kappa LAA, come to this meeting!

This is just an informational meeting, so there is no pressure to sign up and become involved if you aren’t feeling 100% about it. We’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible just to spread the word and educate everyone about our first ever LAA 🙂

We will cover all of the basics you need to know in order to have a successful and easy journey into alumni involvement. This includes:
• How do I join the roster?
• Are there any costs involved with joining?
• What is the time commitment like?
• How can you join our Discord server?
• LAA progress so far
• And more!

The Beta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi at Bowling Green State University was founded on April 17, 1949.

Since its beginning, nearly 900 Brothers have been initiated into the fraternity and have made lasting impacts throughout their lives.

We want to take a moment and celebrate the hard work and dedication that every Brother has put into our chapter over the years because we are still thriving, still striving, and serving the bands at BGSU!

These chats will happen a couple of times each month as a fun way to reconnect with each other. Bring some snacks, stories, and an open mind!

Beta Kappa History Day 2025!

The Chapter Historian, Wyatt Lehman, held our annual History Day today, followed by an Alumni event! Over time, keep an eye out for some photo albums and award highlights 😎

We found our 4 Actives at Convention! 🥰

Andrew (left) is our BK Delegate this year and Wyatt (second) is also sitting for another chapter! So many good experiences happening for them!

The BK LAA is selling Krispy Kreme Certificates so that we can assist our Active Chapter members in going to the NCD Convention! You can redeem your certificate for one dozen regular-glazed donuts. If you would like to purchase a certificate, please fill out the following form by MARCH 5TH:

You can purchase your certificate via Venmo through Hunter Elick, LAA Chair -Christian-97. The cost is $14 per certificate!

Once the certificates are picked up from the Krispy Kreme location, they will be sent in the mail to your home! (AKA you can purchase a certificate no matter where you live! 😄). If you have any questions, please let us know by shooting us a message or emailing [email protected]

Does your chapter have big ideas? Do you need a little help getting them off the ground?

We encourage you to apply for the Special Project Assistance Monies. To do this, fill out the appropriate section of the 2024-2025 NCD Joint Awards form, found at the link in our bio.

This can award your chapter a maximum of $400 to assist in the completion of a project that benefits the band programs at your school. The application consists of a few questions that allow us to understand the project you want to put on.
