BGSU grad Mitch Carrico '26 found a second home within the Thompson Working Families Scholarship Program and credited its infrastructure with helping him stay on track to graduate. 🎓 Through the BGSU Thompson Scholarship Programs, he found a tight-knit community where each recipient has a dedicated advisor and a network of like-minded students ready to help. Carrico closed out his college career by delivering the keynote address at the Thompson End of Year Celebration, which touched on the value of everything the Thompson program stands for. The 80th annual Buckeye Girls State kicks off this week at BGSU! This is the fourth consecutive year Bowling Green has hosted, and as a public university for the public good, we are looking forward to welcoming more than 600 high school students and staff members to our campus as they step into the world of civic leadership through immersive, hands-on experiences.
