Old Union School will begin her 30th year in August. In the last year, for a variety of reasons, we have seen a few very valuable teachers leave the school. With not a great deal of time before school is scheduled to begin, we have a few positions to fill.
The most critical need is an enthusiastic, capable upper-level math teacher to teach pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry. This could absolutely be a part-time position, but the candidate would need to be available daily. Schedule is flexible.
Also, part-time or full-time positions available for elementary age students.
Teaching degree is not required, but teaching experience (or homeschool) is necessary. A familiarity with phonics is a plus. This would be the perfect opportunity for a retired teacher who misses the classroom (but not the long hours) or a mama with school-aged children.
