A BFA in graphic design is a lot of work with studios and you also squeezed in a BSBA in Marketing in 4.5 years, a CURS project, a winning thesis project, an award winning internship experience BG Falcon Media, served in leadership in the Design Club BGSU , plus engaged in three study abroad terms in Italy, Germany, and Japan. You are shining example of “how” to do college by embracing the student experience at BGSU Enjoy this day, you deserve to celebrate! Last night we held our 19th annual BGSUGD Portfolio Review Day with 37 amazing reviewers, 58 eager students, and 190 portfolio review sessions. The energy was great and the time ran smooth. Thanks to everyone for their time and energy in producing a great night! See in a few weeks at Senior Show!

Maddie Arnold ’25 BGSU GD alum received a Gold Addy for her senior thesis/honors project, CREATIVE TIES, by AAF District 5 Regional Competition (Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia)

Jabari Twitty, Maddie Junk, Gideon Kallenberger, Mckenzie Hall, Blake Rupp, Taylor Turner, Cameron Smith, Matthew Joseph, Hailey Pettit-Mastroianni, and ’25 alums Taylor Walterreit and Lenox McConaughey, won a Silver Addy for the collaborative exhibition, IN THE ROOTS, by AAF District 5 Regional Competition (Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia)

Janessa Jewell, Mckenzie Hall, Elliot Olson, BGSU GD students (and Falcon Media Interns) won 1st place for their Newspaper Design by the Ohio News Media Association

The BGSU Division of Graphic Design is proud to present our 19th Annual Portfolio Review Day :: command on Monday, April 13 on BGSU Campus in Olscamp 101 (same room as 2024). We hope that many of you can help with our in-person version this year to help our students build this skillset.

We are seeking approximately 30-35 design professionals to serve as portfolio reviewers for our BGSUGD juniors and seniors, and your guidance and mentorship would mean so much for the success of our students and the program. If you have the professional design experience, and you’re willing to give us your Monday evening, you’ll have the unending gratitude of our student participants and my deepest thanks for continuing the excellence of our program. (We’ve been named by GD USA magazine as a Top Design School!
