Hey bread friends- 🍞🥖🥯🥪 I’m so thankful for all of you and your enthusiasm for bread!

This summer has been a lot of healing from a couple of surgeries, and it looks like that’s going to stretch into the fall.

For local friends who have been subscribers or have been waiting so patiently for a bread class to happen again so you can get your sourdough skills on- I’m gonna have to ask you to be even MORE patient. January is probably our next bread class if fall goes well.

I’m currently asking God for good healing in this surprise season of rest, and for some bone regrowth if He doesn’t mind. You can pray with me if you want…and I’ll let you buy sourdough from somebody else…for now 😂😂😂

I’m kidding! Try them all. If I could eat it, I would!

That cheese sizzle! 🔥

Garlic Parmesan Loaf

1/2 cup sourdough starter
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 cups warm water
3 cups bread flour

1/2 cup shaved Parmesan (none of that gross sand with other ingredients added)
1/2 - 1 tsp Garlic powder (or chopped fresh garlic- but watch your moisture levels with that!)
Parsley sprinkles for herb cuteness (you can also add Italian spices, but this has been overpowering flavor for me- I wanted the garlic/parmesan to BE the flavor)

Use whatever basic sourdough technique works for you & ENJOY!

The why for all the why’s.

Love means sacrifice. Jesus made the greatest sacrifice to give us the greatest gift, eternal life.

He came proclaiming God’s gift of eternal life for the world (John 3:16) and He accomplished our salvation by giving His life for ours.

John 12:23-25

“And Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”
