We’re excited to host our upcoming WKU Recital this Sunday, August 23rd! 🎤🎸🥁🎹

We have TWO recitals filled with incredible student performances, featuring everything from piano and guitar to drums and more! There is much talent to celebrate, and we can’t wait to see these performers take the stage. 🤘

We’re halfway through August, which means we’re officially livin’ on a prayer... because, well, we’re halfway there.

And that also means there’s still time to grab your tickets for the August Rock N’ Raffle!

This month, one lucky winner is taking home a Fender Squier Mini electric guitar PLUS one month of lessons at Bowling Green Rock Band Academy.

But as always, the real win is what happens with every ticket purchased.

Every $1, $5, $20 — whatever you choose to give — helps BG Amplify Foundation continue growing our scholarship fund and providing music and arts opportunities to kids and individuals in our community.

Over the years, I've learned something...

Music changes lives.

I've watched students walk through our doors who were shy, struggling, or simply looking for a place where they belonged. I've seen confidence grow, friendships form, and families find joy through music. Those moments are why we started BG Rock Band Academy, and they're a big part of why the BG Amplify Foundation exists today.

Every month, our Rock N' Raffle helps make those opportunities possible.

Yes, someone is going to win a pretty awesome guitar and a month of lessons.

But the part I'm most excited about is what happens beyond the raffle.

Every ticket purchased helps fund scholarships that allow students and families in our community to experience music who otherwise might not have the chance.

LAST CALL for Fall Rock Band!

Bands are being formed as we speak, so if you've been thinking about joining us this fall, today is the day to SQUEAK in!

Well... another BGRBA Summer Showcase is in the books.

What a day.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support these incredible musicians. From the rock bands, soloists, teachers, volunteers, friends, and families... you all helped make it one of those days that reminds us why we started this place in the first place.

This was our 6th Summer Showcase, and somehow it just keeps getting better every single year. Watching these musicians grow in confidence, take the stage, and cheer each other on never gets old. It's honestly one of my favorite days of the year.

Thank you for believing in what we're building here at BGRBA and for helping us create opportunities for these musicians to perform, grow, and make memories they'll carry with them for a long time.

It's almost time to trade the neon for flannel.

Our '90s Semester kicks off August 15, and I honestly can't wait. The '90s were my formative musical years, so this one feels a little personal... and, for the first time in decades, my fashion sense might actually be considered "current."

If you'd like to be placed into a rock band, please register by August 3. That gives us enough time to build bands based on age, experience, instruments, and schedules—and that's a bit like putting together the world's loudest jigsaw puzzle.
