🥃 You're invited: Wh***ey Odyssey Tasting Night at NorCal Crepe House — Wednesday, November 11 (Veterans Day).

Three 40-minute guided tastings at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 PM. All three expressions — Toiseach Úr, Yearling Fire, and Boogeyman — poured and talked through.

$25 per person. Veterans get a special pour — our thanks.

🍂 THE SPICED PEAR OUTLAW — Jeremy's way: take the spiced pear build and swap the tequila for Toiseach Úr.

• 2 oz Toiseach Úr (4-yr high-wheat bourbon, 118 proof, Cabernet finish)
• 1 oz spiced pear liqueur
• 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1/4 oz agave syrup
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
• Pinch of cinnamon

Shake with ice, strain into a double rocks glass over a big cube. Garnish with a pear slice and cinnamon stick, dust with cinnamon. High-wheat roundness meets autumn spice. 21+ — please sip responsibly.

Holladay Distillery in Weston, MO is releasing Ben Holladay 10 Year Bourbon — the oldest bourbon the historic distillery has ever put out. Bottled at 111 proof after a full decade in their iron-clad rickhouses, just in time for their 170th anniversary year. Available at the distillery from 10 AM Saturday.

And Garrison Brothers is rolling out two sherry-cask-finished cask-strength single barrels — PX and Oloroso finishes, each around 3,000 bottles at $189.99, debuting at their Texas tailgate Saturday. Big week for brown spirits. 🥃

• 1 can Sprite
• 1 splash of regular Red Bull
• Plenty of ice
• Lemon twist
