ANNOUNCEMENT (FINAL EVENT):

Hello Camp-In friends!

Dorie and I will again be hosting the Sigma Nu Camp-In at our house in Richfield, Ohio the weekend of Friday, July 25th through Sunday, July 27th. After doing this for the last 25 years, this will be the last time we put this gathering together.

The guys will be golfing on Friday beginning at 11:00AM at the Ironwood Golf Course in Hinckley, followed by a fun dinner again at Whitey's Booze & Burgers in Richfield. Dorie is planning the Girls' Friday activities. We'll all hang out together on Saturday which will include a gathering to meet and talk with the current Sigma Nu brothers at BGSU. Dinner will again be prepared and served by the Winking Lizard Restaurant from 5:00-6:00 in the backyard. On Sunday morning we'll have the traditional breakfast prepared by the Sigma Nu chefs.

Some of the specific details are not locked down yet, but just mark your calendar and we'll update you later. I am sending this email to everyone whose email address I have. Please feel free to forward it to any brother who you think might like to join us and ask them to send me their email address so I can update the guest list. Dorie and I hope t see you all!

OK everyone, the Camp-In 2024 details are now all locked down. Even if you have already let us know that you'll be here, I now need you to respond to this email with specifically which events you are planning to attend so we can get the reservations and food orders locked down. Please get back to us via email by June 24th. Here are the responses I will now need from you.

Friday, July 26 (A)- Golf at Seneca Metroparks Golf Course, 975 Valley Parkway, Brecksville, OH beginning at 11:00AM. 32 spots available. You pay for your own golf.

(B)- Dinner beginning around 4:30PM at Whitey's Booze & Burgers restaurant, 3600 Brecksville Road, Richfield, OH. I'll write them a check for everything and you will then hand me cash for whatever you had.

(C)- Overnight at our house.

GIRLS' FRIDAY
(D)- The girls will relax on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway that chugs along through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. If you download the CVSR Train Tracker Lifestyle app (not the Train Station 2 Steam Empire that comes up first) you can learn about some of the history of the area during the ride Because the parking lots fill up quickly, we will leave our house on Fawn Chase at 11:30, arriving at the Peninsula train depot before noon. The train departs at 1:40, which will give us plenty of time for a light lunch at the Winking Lizard which is right next door. It's a two hour train ride and costs $16. The cars are air-conditioned, snacks and souvenirs are available in the cafe car.

(E) From Peninsula we will go to the NuVue Bar and Grill, a restaurant that just opened up this year. Address is 2446 N. Cleveland-Massillon Road, Akron. (it's actually Bath, OH not far from our house.) Dinner reservations will be at 5:00PM.

Saturday, July 27 (F)- Epsilon Chi chapter meeting with current collegiates in the house basement beginning at 1:00PM.

(G)- Catered dinner served in the backyard by the Winking Lizard Tavern at 5:00PM. $26.00 per meal.

(H)- Overnight at our house

Sunday, July 30 (I)- Morning breakfast prepared by the Sigma Nu alumni beginning around 10:00AM.

Brothers,

We've now locked down the Jacksonville golf outing for 2024. Golfing dates will be Tuesday, March 26th through Thursday, March 28th. We will again be staying at the Embassy Suites on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville. I promise, we'll have the free booze, too.

I'll be sending out another email in a few months asking for you to confirm the exact dates you will be golfing, so Jim can get the tee times locked down for everyone. Let's all get together and have some fun!

Hello Camp-In buddies!

If you are wondering about this year, the answer is YES! Dorie and I will again be hosting the annual Sigma Nu Camp-In the weekend of Friday, July 28 through Sunday, July 30 at our house in Richfield, Ohio. The guys will be golfing on that Friday followed by dinner again at Whitey's Booze & Burgers. Dorie is planning Girls' Friday activities. We'll all hang out together on Saturday and dinner will be a catered again by the Winking Lizard Restaurant from 5:00-6:00 in the backyard AND then doing the cleanup, too. Oh yeah! Sunday will be the traditional breakfast catering by the Sigma Nu chefs. If you were wondering... ah yeah, we will probably again be brewing our annual batch of NuBrew beer for the party.

$10.95 for adults and $8.95 for seniors. The tickets need to be bought in advance. Please RSVP by June 30th.

(E) Dinner at Vaccaro's Trattoria in Bath (yes, that's the name of the town ) at 5:00.

(F) Ice cream sundaes back at the house.

Saturday, July 30 (G)- Initiation ceremony for the current Sigma Nu candidates of our chapter beginning at 1:00PM.

(H)- Catered dinner served in the backyard by the Winking Lizard Tavern at 5:00PM. $25.00 per meal.
