WKU Psychology Department The WKU Psychology Department offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. Welcome! Do you have an interest in helping people? in Applied Psychology.

Do you wonder why people, including you, choose to behave in certain ways? Would you like to have flexibility in designing your degree? Are you interested in self-improvement? Do you desire a range of skills that employers and graduate schools value? Then one of Psychology's programs may be for you. For undergraduates, we offer a BA in Psychology as well as a flexible minor. We have three graduate

programs: a Masters concentration in Clinical Psychology, an Ed.S. in School Psychology, and a Psy.D. The Psy.D. program is pending approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Our faculty are active researchers and offer opportunities for students (both undergraduates and graduates) to collaborate on research projects. We welcome you to meet with any of our highly qualified faculty advisers if you are interested in learning more about any of our programs.

Interesting fact you may not know: Dr. Yoon is from South Korea and serves as a pro bono coach supporting local refugee communities and students from immigrant families.

Areas of psychology: cultural, organizational, social
Research interests: How people influence with each other in groups and teams

Last week, Dr. Zhao presented her research at the annual International Society for Qualify-of-Life Studies conference, held at the University of Kentucky.

The Psychology Department is so excited to welcome everyone back to The Hill next week! 💛❤️

Faculty and staff kicked off the week at the annual Convocation, where we had the honor of celebrating our very own Dean Murphy as she received the Spirit of WKU Award. We couldn’t be more proud!

The rest of the week has been filled with fun activities across campus as part of the MASTER Plan, helping us gear up for another great year at WKU.

We can’t wait to see our students back on campus and make this another memorable year! Go Tops!

It's been a busy week in the Psychology Department! Our Research Methods class had the opportunity to present their own research at a poster presentation in the Student Success Center. We are so proud of all their hard work and dedication.

The Psychology Club and Psi Chi Honor Society joined forces to host a Study Social complete with sweet study treats for brain food and opportunities to collaborate with each other and faculty.

We want to wish all of our Hilltoppers good luck on their upcoming exams!
