🎨☀️ Keep Creating This Summer! ☀️🎨
Summer is a wonderful time for children to explore their creativity and express themselves through art!
In Montessori education, art is more than making a project—it's an opportunity for children to observe, imagine, experiment, and communicate their unique ideas. Whether drawing with sidewalk chalk, painting outdoors, building with recycled materials, or creating nature-inspired artwork, every creative experience helps children develop confidence, concentration, and self-expression.
This summer, we encourage our students to:
🖍️ Draw what they see in nature
🎨 Experiment with colors and textures
✂️ Create with materials found at home
🌻 Use the outdoors as inspiration
🖼️ Share their creations with family and friends
Remember, there is no "right" way to create. The joy is in the process of exploring, discovering, and making something uniquely your own.
We can't wait to see all the wonderful creativity our students bring back in the fall!
✨ Imagine. Create. Explore. Grow. ✨

🎶☀️ Music & Movement All Summer Long! ☀️🎶
Summer break is in full swing, we encourage our Montessori students to continue exploring the joy of music and movement every day!
Sing favorite songs, dance in the living room, create rhythms with household objects, march to a beat, practice yoga, or enjoy nature walks while listening to the sounds around you.
These simple activities help children develop coordination, concentration, creativity, and confidence.
This summer, keep the music playing and the bodies moving! We look forward to seeing all the wonderful growth and joyful energy our students bring back in the fall.
🎵 Sing.
💃 Move.
🌱 Explore.
✨ Grow.

A special thank you to a very kind friend of our school who recently helped spruce up our toddler garden!
Thank to this thoughtful act of kindness, their garden will be ready for hands-on discovery, growth and wonder when they return in August!
We're so grateful to all the people in our community that invest their time and talents to help make our school a little brighter.
🏃♀️☀️ Keep Moving This Summer! ☀️🏃♂️
Summer is the perfect time to get outside, have fun, and stay active! Physical activity helps keep our bodies strong, our minds healthy, and our energy levels high.
Challenge yourself to move for at least 60 minutes each day by:
🚴 Riding your bike
⚽ Playing your favorite sport
🚶 Taking a family walk
🏀 Shooting hoops
🏊 Swimming
🎾 Playing outside with friends
Remember, movement doesn't have to be organized—it just has to get you up and active! Every step, jump, throw, and run helps build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Have a safe, active, and fun-filled summer! We can't wait to hear about all the ways you stayed moving when we see you next school year!
📚☀️ Summer Reading Challenge! ☀️📚
School may be out for the summer, but learning never takes a vacation!
We encourage all students to spend some time reading each day during summer break. Whether it's a favorite series, a graphic novel, a magazine, or a new adventure, reading helps keep minds active and ready for a successful start to the new school year.
🌟 Try setting a goal to read for 20 minutes each day.
🌟 Visit your local library and explore new books.
🌟 Share what you're reading with family and friends, and tag us!
Remember: Every page you read is a step toward becoming a stronger reader and lifelong learner!
Have a safe, fun, and book-filled summer! 📖💙
