It has been an honor and a pleasure to be your children’s teacher. Saying goodbye was so hard — tears rolled down our cheeks, and hugs were given a little tighter and lingered a little longer. Thank you for your support, encouragement, donations, and for being such wonderful families. Our class family is strong, and you can truly feel the love we have for each other. I am so proud of each and every one of them. They will always be “my” kids. 🩷 -Mrs. Flick

🏖️ (Surprise) Beach Day in Room 11 was the perfect way to get ourselves in the summer spirit! Today we customized our own water, made fun sunglasses, and created our summer bucket lists while dreaming about all the adventures ahead. 😎🌊
We wrapped up the day by watching the volleyball game together and soaking in all those end-of-year memories. 💙
We are definitely feeling all the goodbye feels as we get ourselves ready for tomorrow… the last day of school! 🎓📚 Here’s to one more day together before summer officially begins! ☀️🍉

FYI: Bring a beach towel, hat, or sunglasses to watch the 5th Grade vs. teacher volleyball game tomorrow! 🏐

Author Sharing has been a fan favorite this year and has fostered such a love and passion for writing in Room 11. We were so sad to have our final Author Sharing session, but I truly hope the writing never stops. Who knows… maybe one day we’ll be able to say we taught a published author! ✏️📚❤️
