What is Block & Bridle? Here at WKU, we are one of the 92 chapters affiliated with the National Block & Bridle Club. For more information: www.blockandbridle.org

Our goals at WKU are similar to the National Organization as we promote a higher scholastic standard and a more complete understanding of Animal Science among student members. We also promote animal agriculture through development of a program of activities that will supplement students' study of the animal sciences in colleges and universities. Block and Bridle strives to enhance professionalism

of students who will one day be leaders in the animal agriculture industry and bring about a closer relationship among all students pursuing some phase of animal agriculture as a profession.

We had such a great time at the 2023 Little North American! The kids had a great time and really gave it their all. We would like to thank our three judges Warren Beeler, Ashley Burnet and Blake Quiggins for spending their Saturday morning with us

Are you looking to get hands on experience working one on one with animals? Want to learn the newest showmanship trends and be mentored by people in the industry? And show off all the new things you’ve learned in a friendly competition on April 1st! You have the option to pick from sheep, goats and pigs. Join us for Little North American! This is open to all students at Western Kentucky! This is a great opportunity to get some experience make some new memories and have fun with your friends! Welcome back Hilltoppers! We hope everyone’s having a great and successful start to the spring semester. We are having our first meeting on Tuesday January 31st at 6:30 pm, we will have guest speaker Warren Beeler there to talk about not only his work experiences but most importantly about his experiences working for the Kentucky Department of Ag where he worked I’m numerous positions in different ranks. At the conclusion we will be giving out important information about Little North American, if your interested in participating make sure you’re there. Can’t wait to see everyone and see what wise words of wisdom Mr.Beeler has for us!
