Next up in our Faces of ARTP series we have Jason Polk! 👏

Jason Polk is the director of the Center for Human GeoEnvironmental Studies (CHNGES). Jason’s favorite place on campus is the limestone outcrop area near the old fort bridge behind Van Meter. His favorite place in Bowling Green is the Lost River Cave and Valley. A fun fact about Jason is that he has crossed the Arctic Circle 3 times!

Our next ARTP face to highlight is Megan Schargorodski, director of the Kentucky Climate Center!

Megan’s favorite place on campus is the steps to Van Meter and her favorite place in Bowling Green is the Lost River Cave trail. A fun fact about Megan is that she’s had a household full of pets for as long as she can remember! 👏👏

Our next face of ARTP to spotlight is Dr. Josh Durkee!

Dr. Durkee is the director of the Disaster Science Operations Center (DSOC) and when there’s a storm, his favorite place on campus is the roof of the Environmental Science & Technology building (especially when students can join him!). His favorite location in Bowling Green is whatever local restaurant he’s hanging out at that moment. Lastly, a fun fact about Dr. Durkee is that he is very passionate about music, food, photography, and global travel. His most recent trip being to the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt!
