We are working on moving the mums from the greenhouse outside to the drip tube system if anyone is avaliable to help this morning.

The 24-25 Bowling Green FFA officers hosted their first meeting this evening. Some came in early and got 800 mums planted and when the rest of the members showed up we split into four groups to do our roadside trash pickup followed by burgers and games.

Our first chapter meeting is this Friday, we hope to see you there!

The online county fair entry system is up and going. We believe we have the bugs worked out. If you have issues contact the extension office as soon as possible so we can fix it. I will send a digital copy of the fair book to your school email accounts if you need to look anything up. It saves your cart but you can not make changes once submitted unless an administrator of the page sends it back to you. Entries are due by July 1. If you are a 4-H member, you can use that family login even if your showing FFA. This will save you creating a whole login. If you are FFA only, you will have to create an account.

After a week in Washington DC and attending the Washington Leadership Conference, we are headed home!

FFA members traveled to Washington DC this past Sunday for the Washington Leadership Conference. We spent the last few days sightseeing and visiting Smithsonians, Mount Vernon, the Holocaust Museum, Money Factory, and the monuments! They are now checked into the conference and ready for the next chapter of their trip!

This week 9 Bowling Green FFA members went to State FFA Camp at Camp Rising Sun located at Lake of the Ozarks. From Mondayto Friday, they went to leadership sessions, played in tournaments, went trapshooting, spent time at the water front, danced, watched a hypnotist, and made new friends from all over the state. 7 of the 9 earned a state leadership medal while 1 of the other 2 had earned her medal last summer. The kids will have more pictures later but here is what I have.

Today 27 Bowling Green FFA members went on a reward trip to Wacky Warriors Paintball in Wentzville. Most of the rain missed us and we had a blast. This trip was earned by FFA participation points throughout the 23-24 school year.

Our Pike County Classic is right around the corner! Information on show and preregistering is posted below! We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The Bowling Green Ag department is ready for sales starting tomorrow morning, April 16th. A few of our vegetables are a little small as we got the seed planted late. All hanging baskets are $10 and all little pots and packs are $2 each. We have a few ferns in tree pots that will sell for $10. There is a money lockbox padlocked to the wall right inside the greenhouse doors, so you can come at your convenience. If you would like help, you can come visit us any time during the school day.
