Kentucky households can apply for LIHEAP Summer Subsidy from August 3 - September 11, 2026, to help offset cooling costs with a one-time electric benefit. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, or until funds are depleted.

Interested households should contact their local Community Action Agency, based on county of residence, to determine eligibility and complete the application process. To locate the office serving your county, visit www.capky.org/network or call 800-456-3452.

Households must meet eligibility requirements, including household income of up to and including 150 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines to qualify for assistance. Benefits are paid directly to the household’s electric vendor.

No disconnect notice, past-due bill, or eviction notice is required to apply. Assistance received during previous LIHEAP components does not affect eligibility.

A big thank you to Dollar General Distribution Center for supporting adult education in our community! 💙

On Aug. 4, Dollar General presented a $10,000 donation to Warren County Adult Education in recognition of the important role adult education plays in strengthening our community.

"We are honored to be recognized and grateful for Dollar General's investment in adult education and the students we serve," said Director of Adult Education Joda Johnson.

SKYCTC Chancellor Trawick and several college representatives joined Warren County Adult Education in celebrating this generous investment in our students and community. Thank you, Dollar General, for your continued support of adult education and lifelong learning!
