The SWMS 8th Grade Band received a Distinguished Rating at Concert Performance Assessment! This is the highest rating that a band can receive. We are so proud of how professional they acted and how well they played. Great job Spartan Band!

Congrats to the SWMS 8th grade Strings Orchestra for receiving a Distinguished rating on their KMEA Performance Assessment.
7th grade Strings Orchestra also received a Proficient rating.

South Warren Middle School Academic Team placed 5th overall at state this past weekend. Quick Recall team tied for 5th place. FPS team placed 2nd in the state and has qualified for internationals. Logan Lecza placed 5th in the state for mathematics. Rose Whitaker won 1st Place in Middle Grades FPS Scenerio Performance and has qualified for internationals. Izzie Cunningham (Rich Pond) placed 2nd in Junior FPS Scenerio Performance and has qualified for internationals.

Congratulations to the South Warren Middle School Choir for receiving unanimous distinguished ratings at Choral Festival Assessment! Our students were assessed in the areas of stage performance and sight-singing. We are so proud of our treble choir and mixed choirs! Go Spartans!
