You will spend significant time immersed in clinical experiences as a BGSU Doctor of Physical Therapy student. Expect to spend 30 weeks in full-time clinical education across diverse settings and locations nationwide.

These clinical experiences are key to building the professional competencies you need to be a successful physical therapist. Real-world situations allow you to apply and hone the knowledge from your remote learning courses under the guidance of experienced physical therapists.

Community Volunteers Needed for the BGSU Doctor of Physical Therapy Program! πŸ’™πŸ§ 

The BGSU Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is looking for community volunteers to help support our students’ learning experience!

We are seeking individuals with neurologic conditions such as:
✨ Stroke
✨ Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
✨ Parkinson’s Disease

Volunteers will participate in a supervised lab session where DPT students will practice physical therapy evaluation skills alongside licensed physical therapists. This is a great opportunity to help future PTs gain valuable real-world, hands-on experience before beginning their clinical rotations! πŸ™Œ
