Bowie Intermediate School

Celebrated the end of the year at the BISD breakfast this morning! We were able to honor Adela Martinez as the BIS AND BISD elementary teacher of the year! We honored our Unsung Hero, Jeannine Yowell! We also said goodbye and happy retirement to Stephanie Crabtree! Pam Bros also won the Martin Award this year! What a day for BIS! The last picture are all the teachers, at the intermediate, that earned some extra money this year through TIA (teacher incentive allotment) for their outstanding teaching! STILL a great day to be a Jackrabbit! 25 students earned the chance to slime Pickett, Childress and Wesley from our American Heart Association fundraiser early in the year. Today was payday! >me

Thank you to everyone that came out today for our BIS Field Day/Awards! We had to go with plan B (inside) and the students adjusted well and had a great time! Proud of the teachers that quickly came together to make it happen! Also, thanks to the PALS, NHS AND NJHS students that came down from BJH and BHS to help! TEAM>me
