Like having a persistent chronic pain... Grief is there, just beneath the surface of every conversation, every activity, every sunrise and sunset, every piece of music. The most "random" things can trigger it. And in those moments, what do I do?
Breathe
Pause
Allow it to pass over and through me
And await the gratitude that arises inevitably. Gratitude to know that the grief and the love are two sides of the same coin.
I appreciate the blessing of having him in my life and being in his for the time we had. Not enough... but if I am honest, a thousand years would not have been enough.❣😒

One of the things I loved about Kenny was his way of seeing and perceiving.

With all the trauma pain frustrations and more he could still see hope, love, and life. He found knowledge and wisdom in deep conversations with people. He found seeds and magick in books videos art. He found portals and pathways where others found dead ends and walls.

I wish he could have really seen and felt just how special he truly was and how much his life impacted so many people.

Artist, performer, empathic engineer of emotional chaos, ... Kenny's music and artistry allowed him to connect with a wide array of people. Many people in our society would label these people as weird or outcasts to be shunned. Kenny embraced such labels as an honor because it connected people, gave people a reason to keep living, to keep dreaming and keep manifesting!!
Kenny's music was a safety net for many who simply needed to be seen and heard and respected. Kenny did his best to be that person.
