Summer Fun Facts – Science Adventures!
Our summer science continues as our bright BZKC Scholars dove into an exciting experiment under the hot sun! Each child was invited to form a hypothesis—a thoughtful guess—about what might happen if we placed crayons outside in the heat.

The predictions were unanimous: the crayons would melt, and the colors would blend into one big, beautiful swirl of art. What a colorful and creative way to explore science through hands-on discovery!

We’re soaking up learning, dipping into the sun for a bit, and staying cool inside while the adventures continue!

We love our emergent curriculum! Today’s adventure led our BZKC scholars to explore a classic seaside mystery: What sound do you think you’ll hear when you hold a conch shell to your ear?
Ask your young scholar what they predicted—and what they actually discovered!

Here’s the science behind it: The sound you hear isn’t the ocean—it’s the amplification of ambient noise around you. The shell captures and reflects vibrations from your environment, including subtle sounds from the air, your body, and the space you're in.
