* $6 per participant ages 3 and up
* Registration at the event
* Concessions, including Chick-Fil-A, will be sold (While supplies last)
* Walk or run around the track and get splashed with color!
* Firetruck after race to sprinkle kids

September 11 — We Remember

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001—a day that forever changed our nation.

Twenty-five years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward to help, and the families and communities whose lives were forever changed.

For our students, September 11 is history. We believe it is important that they learn about this significant moment in our nation’s history with age-appropriate lessons centered on remembrance, courage, compassion, and unity.

We remember because history matters.
We remember because people matter.
We remember because we must never forget.

Today is Lissencephaly Awareness Day, and this day holds a very special place in the heart of North Hart.

Our school community is blessed to know and love a very special student who lives with lissencephaly. While her journey is different from many of her classmates, her presence taught us some of life’s most important lessons: that every child has a story worth knowing, every life has incredible value, and love has a way of bringing people together.

Because of her, lissencephaly is more than a word to us. It has a face, a name, a story, and a place in our North Hart family.

Today, we celebrate her life and the beautiful mark she left on our school. All of our building, teachers wore the colors of lilac and blue with denim to support our special girl.

We remember. We celebrate. We raise awareness. And most of all, we love.

Today, on World Physical Therapy Day, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone who makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Our physical therapist, Mrs. Kerri Guarnella, brings so much more than her expertise to her work. She brings patience, kindness, encouragement, and a genuine heart for every student she serves. She meets each patient where they are, celebrates their progress, and always makes them feel cared for and supported.

Her warmth is felt by our students, families, and staff, and we are incredibly grateful for the compassion she brings to North Hart each day.
Thank you for all that you do and for caring for our students with such dedication and heart.

We are so lucky to have you as part of our North Hart family! Happy World Physical Therapy Day! We appreciate you more than you know!
