It’s spooky season at BFL, arguably our favorite time of the year 🫶🫶🫶

This season we have so many exciting things planned, many involving costumes and festive attire 😎

Our official entry in the town-wide scarecrow competition will be on display throughout the month of October (or until it blows down, whichever comes first 😅), James Pattercrow, modeled after the iconic James Patterson 🧡

BFL staff will be participating in Trunk or Treat this year as…. SESAME STREET 🤩

And, on top of all our fantastic, autumnal programs we have running, BFL staff will be excited to welcome you for some early candy hauls Friday & Saturday on Halloweekend!!!!

We hope you’re as excited as we are for the next couple weeks. Please don’t forget we are closed Monday for professional development, but we are here today until 6pm, tomorrow 10am - 4pm, and reopening Tuesday at 10am for you.

See you soon!!! 🎃👻🖤

‼️This week is Banned Books Week‼️

Every year, the American Library Association hosts banned books week in order to draw attention to how prominent censorship still is in modern times.
