The great teacher inflatable race of 2026 was a tremendous success! We spent the morning talking about the characteristics of the different types of animals that would be racing, graphing our projections for height of costumes and speed of runners. Later, we made posters to share on our favorite animals and then joined all of kindergarten pre-K and first grade outside along the race course.. I’m proud to say that the squirrel (Mrs. Green ) came in at a very respectful third place -and it was also happy to see that they had an ambulance on site in case any of the kindergarten teachers went down (which we did not !)

Yesterday was another fantastic day! Field day was so much fun from start to to finish - with a family fun night on top! I’m adding photos from yesterday and stay tuned this afternoon ….today is The great inflatable race…. Wish me luck.!!!

Step up to first grade was a great success. We climbed the stairs and were invited to join Mrs. Kelley’s class this afternoon. Mrs. Kelley explained what the daily routines in her classroom are. Her class taught ours a daily affirmation routine and then we had a chance to spend time working and playing with our new first grade friends!❤️

The kids are really enjoying the lifecycles unit and were able to release butterflies on Friday and Monday!🦋

We’re Going Buggy! Our class is definitely loving module four of our ARC curriculum. As budding entomologists today we were able to use the natural classroom at BES to do a bug hunt. They had so much fun, searching for capturing and observing bugs and it was amazing to hear them having conversations about body parts, antennas legs, and exoskeletons.! 🐞🐛🐜
