🎉 Happy First Day of the 2026–2027 School Year! 🎉

Today marked our first day of the 2026–2027 school year here at Cadence Academy Preschool in Bourne! 💙

We are so excited to begin another wonderful year together! Today, we welcomed new children and their families into our Cadence family, while also helping our existing children transition into their new classrooms. We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and lots of special memories! 🥰

🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT! 🌟

Let’s introduce you to Ms. Rhonda! 💙

Ms. Rhonda has been a valued part of our center since 2007! With nearly two decades of experience, she brings so much love, knowledge, and dedication to our Cadence Academy family.

Ms. Rhonda is one of our wonderful Pre-Kindergarten teachers and has also been a tremendous support to our food program throughout the years. We are so grateful for all that she does for our children and our center! 🥰

📚 One of Ms. Rhonda’s biggest passions is books and reading, and she loves sharing that joy with the children in our center. Her enthusiasm helps foster a lifelong love of learning and storytelling in our little ones! ❤️

When Ms. Rhonda isn’t busy teaching and caring for our children, she enjoys spending time with her three children and three grandchildren. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕

🌟 Annual August Professional Development Day! 🌟

Yesterday was our annual August Professional Development Day! This is one of two days each year when we close our center so we can bring our amazing educators together for a day of professional development, team building, preparation, and FUN! 💙

Yesterday’s focus was especially important as we prepared to welcome new families into our Cadence family and help our returning children transition into their new classrooms. There is a lot of preparation that goes into making the start of a new school year successful, and we are so proud of the time and effort our educators put into making it a great experience for our children and families! 🥰

While these pictures only show a small glimpse into our day, our staff had an amazing time coming together! We had a special guest trainer from JRI. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, a taco bar for lunch, and even a visit from the ice cream truck! 🍦

Okay… maybe it wasn’t really an ice cream truck. 😂 It was actually just Ms. Courtney playing ice cream truck music as she called everyone to the lobby to make their own sundaes! 🍨🎶

It was a wonderful day filled with fun, laughter, teamwork, and bonding as we got ready for another fantastic school year together—and with all of you! ❤️

🎉 Happy 4-Year Anniversary, Courtney! 🎉

Join us in celebrating our amazing Director, Courtney, on her 4-year anniversary with us! 💙

Courtney’s journey with our school has been truly special. She started as an Infant Teacher, bringing love, patience, and care to our youngest learners. She then grew into the role of Assistant Director for two years, supporting our team and families with dedication and compassion, and now has been leading as our Director for just over a year.

Throughout every role, Courtney has shown her passion for early childhood education and her commitment to creating a positive, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff. We are so grateful for her leadership, hard work, and the heart she brings to our school every day.

Congratulations, Courtney, on this incredible milestone! Thank you for growing with us and making such a meaningful impact. We are lucky to have you as part of our school family! 🥳💐✨
