What an awesome week! We collected “apples” on our “tractors” while we worked our strong muscles, we sorted apples through our orchard obstacle course, we bowled with apples, and to finish of our week, we made apple pie! Thank you ALL so much for your Apple donations. We are so grateful! 🚜 🍏 🍎

Today we read and acted out, Pete the Cat, I Love My White Shoes! We had so much fun and worked on so many skills: We worked on following directions, self help skills (taking off our shoes and socks,) being brave by walking in paint, sequencing, answering ‘Wh’ questions about the story, inferencing using the story, waiting our turn, and more self help skills (putting our shoes and socks back on.) We are soooo proud of all these kiddos! What a fabulous day!

PRIDE WEEK IS NEXT WEEK! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Next week our classroom will be learning about and celebrating Pride Month! In celebration of our LGBTQIA+ community, we will once again revisit our year long theme that all people and families are different, 'super,' and amazing in their own ways. We will be talking about families, identities, and inclusivity. We have spent the year learning how to be "superfriends" by including ALL with kind our hearts and actions. This is one more way that we will learn about the importance of inclusion and belonging.
