Move-in day is here. 💜💛

The boxes are packed, the rooms are taking shape, and a new chapter is officially beginning at Olivet.

And today, we want to give a special shoutout to the parents. Thank you for trusting us with your students, for helping carry all those boxes (and probably a few more emotions than expected 😭), and for being part of this journey.

And to our Olivet alumni parents—today feels especially special. There’s something beautiful about watching you bring your student back to the place that once shaped your story. You’re not just dropping your student off at college. You’re continuing a legacy. 💜

This week, alumnus and World Series MVP Ben Zobrist ’04 partnered with Caleb Benoit ’06 and Connect Roasters to host a book signing for Ben’s latest release, Prepare for the Pressure.

Hosted by Champion Forward, the event brought the Kankakee County Community together and brought awareness to the non-profit’s work with teenage athletes, parents and coaches as they navigate the world of sports and the pressures that come with it. It’s always incredible to see our alumni continue to make an impact beyond Olivet.

We’re grateful to see so many ONU connections represented! A special shoutout to Marketing & Development Coordinator Caroline Garvin ’25 and photographer and videographer Logan Miller ’16 for their support in making the event possible.

Calling all alumni entrepreneurs, designers & artisans! 🎨

Last year, the Alumni Association launched The Vault — a limited-time collection of unique pieces available exclusively during Homecoming & Family Weekend. Alumna Raquel Gonzalez ’24 kicked things off by sharing her collection of Olivet heirloom pieces!

This year, we’re inviting alumni entrepreneurs, designers & artisans to apply to showcase and sell their handmade and specialty products. 🛍️

We’ll provide the space, display materials, payment network and digital promotion. You’ll be responsible for managing your own payment methods and staffing.
