ONU Social Work

If you did not know, ONU has a micro pantry located in Ludwig 218 (next to the Chaplain’s office). The essentials corner acts as a space for students and staff to support one another, anonymously, by stocking the shelves of non-perishables and other necessities.

How you can help:
⭐️ Donate non-perishable food items and toiletries (think college student essentials). NO CLOTHING (please contact MSS if you have winter clothing donations).
⭐️ Share the news — spread the word to students in your circle.
⭐️ Keep it neat — place items on labeled shelves when you drop them off.

The shelves are currently very low stocked. If able, please stop by the essentials corner to familiarize yourself with the space and donate towards this mission! Together, we can make a tangible difference for students who need it the most.

Olivet’s Social Work Program recently hosted its annual CEU Workshop for local social workers and ONU social work students. We were blessed to have Dr. Denise Anderson and our guest panelists share their expertise on effectively and ethically advocating for immigrant clients. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to such engaging and meaningful discussions!
