The Bourbonnais Township Park District offers a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and non-residents of all ages. is made up of 4 facilities; Recreation Station, Exploration Station… a children’s museum, Willowhaven Nature Center and Perry Farm Administration Building, and 4 parks; Perry Farm Park, Diamond Point Park, Willowhaven Park & Nature Center and Turnberry Park.

🦕🦖 Dinosaur & Animals of the Mesozoic Era 🦕🦖
Travel back to the Age of Dinosaurs and discover the incredible creatures that ruled the Earth for over 160 million years! Learn what makes an animal a true dinosaur while exploring famous species like Velociraptor, Archaeopteryx, and T. rex. Participants will also discover other prehistoric animals including pterosaurs, mosasaurs, crocodilians, turtles, fishes, and early birds. This indoor lecture-style program includes replica fossils and specimens and concludes with the story of the dinosaurs’ mass extinction and the rise of mammals. All ages welcome. Viewer discretion advised for younger participants due to discussion of extinction.

💰 Starting Pay: $15 per hour
🕒 Classification: Part-time (Morning Shift 9:30 am - 1:00 pm)

Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old
Entry-level position
Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Friendly and approachable demeanor

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and inviting learning environment
Courteously answer questions and provide information
Communicate visitor feedback and ideas to the Facility Manager
Assist in the care of exhibits
