The Kankakee Valley Music Teachers Association, the Southwest Area Music Teachers Association, King Music, and Olivet Nazarene University will be holding the tenth biennial Monster Concert and Workshop on Saturday, November 4, 2023!

The group will be having its first monthly meeting of the year today at 11:00 at ONU in the Larsen Fine Arts building! If you teach private lessons, this is a great time to get involved! It a great group to be in that provides wonderful playing opportunities for your students and a great community of teachers for support and encouragement. Come to the first KVMTA meeting of the year! It will take place this Thursday (Sept. 12) in Room 131 at Olivet Nazarene University in the Larsen Fine Arts building. The meeting will last from 6:30-7:45.

We will be discussing the events to be held throughout this year, followed by a presentation by Dr. Jo Jo Sayson, P.T. The title of the presentation is “Jumpstart Your Brain: Practical Methods for a Second Chance to Living Life.” You won’t want to miss this!

Meeting is open to all music teachers, so come check it out and see if it’s right for you and your students! Hope to see you there! :)
