Clear that Crib out…. There should only be a safety approved mattress in the crib with a tight fitting sheet over it. Then put your baby in the crib on their back. If it’s cold out use a wearable blanket on your baby NO loose blankets in the bed. That’s it….
So get that crib cleaned out.

With the cold months starting and everyone wanting to cover up their babies with blankets please think twice. Only use the wearable blankets. No loose blankets while sleeping.

Practice SAFE SLEEP.

A reminder to ALWAYS place your baby on his or her back in a clutter-free, safety-approved crib.

Before 1992 over 10,000 babies died of sleep-related deaths in the United States every year. Since the implementation of the Back to Sleep campaign, that number has decreased by over half.

October 15th each year is the day they set aside to honor all pregnancy and infant losses. It’s called “The Wave of Life” At 7:00pm your time zone light a candle or candles for 1 hour in memory of your losses.

Tens of thousands of families across the United States are devastated each year by the death of their baby. In 1988, US President Ronald Reagan declared October as a month to recognize the unique grief of bereaved parents in an effort to demonstrate support to the many families who have suffered such a tragic loss. Promoting awareness of pregnancy and infant loss not only increases the likelihood that grieving families will receive understanding and support, but also results in improved education and prevention efforts which may ultimately reduce the incidence of these tragedies. Help us honor the babies lost too soon.
