Hey, McBourbon! 🎶

Please join the HS Band on Tuesday, October 20th for McBand Night at the Cuba McDonald’s from 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM! 🍟 be sure to bring your family inside or through the drive-thru!

We will have Grimace there, Band-Themed coloring pages, and the final performance of our marching band show, “Stars and Strikeouts”! ⚾️ ⭐️

The Band will receive a percentage of the sales from that night, so the more the merrier! All funds raised will go towards the Band’s MMEA Performance in January. Please help our students experience this once-in-a-lifetime event!

A few band members also performed with the East Central College Community Band! We have rehearsed every Monday since August 24th and gave a concert tonight!

Any High School-Aged musicians or older can join the group - we start the next concert series for some Jazzy Christmas music next week!

High School Honors Band students traveled to Rolla for District Band Auditions. The following members made the ensemble, which will meet and perform on November 7th at Rolla, and will be eligible for All-State Auditions in December:

Madi Ham - 24th Chair Clarinet
Jayson Campbell - 1st Chair Alto Clarinet
Blake Wallis - 2nd Alternate French Horn
Coltyn Strosnider - 3rd Chair Euphonium
Joshua Gibbs - 5th Chair Tuba
Liam Warren - 6th Chair General Percussion

These students are only one step away from making All-State - congratulations and happy practicing!

Yourrr Marching Warhawks received 11th place in the Potosi Bi-State Marching Invitational Final Competition.

The band will be getting ready for Mountain Grove next Saturday and slowly begin transitioning to working on our MMEA in January!

Yourrrr Marching Warhawks just received a CLEAN SWEEP in the Red Division, taking home all captions of Music, Visual, Color Guard, and Percussion, making them qualify for FINALS!

The band will take the field for Finals Competiton at 6:15pm!
