High School: Friendly reminder that we have Monday Rehearsal from 9am-12pm next week (August 24th). Be prepared to spend the morning outside and bring any outstanding paperwork or forms with you!

Good Game, Everyone!

Yourrrr Marching Warhawks finished the pre-season play offs strong, and with our first Monday Rehearsal (9am-12pm at the HS) in T Minus 10 days, we are ready to have this show blast off!

Guard has a majority of our first two movements ready to set on the field with routine! The band has started polishing their music after a good discussion about what judges look for in each category (individual versus ensemble, etc)

Many awesome moments today from the whole group and a ton of progress made! Let’s keep it up!!

Day 3! White Lie Day!

The band mostly worked outside this morning on fundamentals and learning about typical issues that field show bands experience: if you zoom in, you’ll see one of our percussionists on the opposite side of the field using crash cymbals. The band learned about how phasing can effect a marching band, and why it’s important to watch your conductors on the field more than you listen!

For the activity, the drumline and front ensemble leaders ran a game of keepaway with pool noodles and cups.

This afternoon, we will fit for uniforms and fine tune more of our music!

The band did a full run of their music today, as well as started setting drill for their Pre-Show! Color Guard is working to finish their routines so they can perform with us by the end of the week on the field.

Reminder that all physicals and forms MUST be turned in ASAP for full participation.

Tomorrow is White Lie day! Excited to see some APPROPRIATE creativity!!
