Fall Break: Great for the Bobcats. Devastating for our mascot Bobby.

Empty classrooms. Silent hallways. Nobody to high-five. Bobby Bobcat was NOT emotionally prepared for this.

📅 Reminder: No school for students Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (October 14–16)!

Enjoy your Fall Break, Bountiful Elementary! Bobby will be thrilled to see you back at school Monday, October 19.

Video Description: Bobby Bobcat, Bountiful Elementary’s mascot, looks lonely while students are away for fall break. He sits alone in an empty classroom, visits a vending machine, waits at an empty office desk, and stands by himself in the school lobby. On-screen text reads, “The school mascot while the kids are on break.”

Small groups. BIG breakthroughs. And an impact that goes far beyond the page!
Some of the most important learning at Bountiful Elementary happens around the smallest tables!

Our incredible reading aides play a vital role in supporting our Bobcats through targeted reading interventions, personalized instruction, and plenty of encouragement.

They're building more than reading skills. They're building confidence, celebrating progress, and helping students discover what they're capable of.

Because sometimes the biggest difference comes from someone taking the time to help a child believe, “I CAN do this!”

To our amazing reading aides: Your work matters. YOU matter. And our Bobcats are better because of you!

Inspired by Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar, our Bountiful Elementary Bobcats turned a beloved children's book into a school-wide masterpiece!

From colorful fruits and treats to a giant caterpillar and beautiful butterfly, our young artists each added a little something to create something BIG.

Because at Bountiful Elementary, creativity grows, imagination takes flight, and every little piece MATTERS!

👏 Effort matters—and these Bobcats showed us what that looks like! 🐾

Throughout September, students across Bountiful Elementary practiced persistence, kept trying when things got hard, learned from mistakes, and showed what it means to give their best.

We’re excited to celebrate our September Make It Matter Award winners, recognized for bringing our Effort Matters theme to life through their actions each day. 💙

Congratulations, Bobcats! Your effort was noticed—and it made a difference.

Now we’re carrying that momentum into October as we turn our focus to Kindness Matters. We can’t wait to see how our Bobcats continue to Make It Matter for the people around them. 🐾💛
