A little more time on Wednesday. A lot more time for learning.
Late Start Wednesdays are back for junior high and high school students:
• Junior high begins at 10:15 a.m.
• High school begins at 9:30 a.m.
The later start gives educators dedicated time to work together through Professional Learning Communities. They use this time to collaborate, analyze student learning, plan instruction and identify ways to better support individual student needs.
So while students get a little extra time in the morning, teachers are using that time to strengthen what happens in the classroom.
Same commitment to learning. Just a later start on Wednesdays.
