Adjusting to a new school schedule takes time. Every fall we see dancers tired on the way to class, and it's completely normal!

Here are a few things that help 👉

• Build a going-to-dance ritual your child looks forward to
• Reassure them that tired is normal and it gets easier
• Bring water and a light snack before class

The best part? It doesn't last. Before long, the question becomes "Is it time for dance yet?"

Save this for the tough weeks and send it to a parent who could use it.

A kind word can change someone's whole day. 🩷

Our pin for October is Kindness Counts! All month long, our teachers are incorporating intentional acts of kindness into every class, and they’ll be watching for dancers who genuinely lift others up and lead with a caring heart! Dancers who consistently show kindness throughout the month will earn their pin.

Dance is so much more than technique. The character built in the studio will always come first, and it starts with kindness!

Even our tiniest dancers are learning what makes a team strong. (Hint: it’s not the dancing 😉)

Ms. Maddy came in to do some team building with our tiny team. By the end, every single dancer received a compliment and felt cared for by their peers! Before we teach them to dance together, we teach them to take care of each other.

Everything's better with a co-pilot 🎈 Bring a Friend week is Sept 21-25!

Check your email to see if your class is participating. Dancers, this is your chance to bring a friend along for the ride and share the fun of class with them!

A few things to remember:

✈️ Friends must be age appropriate for the class
🚽 Friends must be potty trained
🖊️ Friends need to sign a waiver when they arrive
🐥 Does not apply to academic preschool or company classes
