Completed Yoga Pearl]]’s 6 week class challenge, totaling 24 classes 🌟!
As it goes, “the hardest part is showing up.”

This challenge came right at a time where “showing up” for studio classes have made all the difference in body, mind, and spirit. During these winter months and a busy schedule Yin + Restorative classes have been so good for my mind to unclench and soften while the Vinyasa classes have strengthened my body and brought greater awareness to the new ways I move. It’s really easy to get absorbed with your own routines and practices.

I’ve also gotten to witness how AMAZING the teachers at Yoga Pearl]] are and a deeper gratitude to teach alongside them. As a teacher, it’s so important to take other classes for solidarity, fresh perspectives, and to be in the seat of the student.

Much love to Yoga Pearl]] and all the students, teachers, and mgmt that make our studio feel so special.

Yesterday our community lost 10 innocent lives. It has been surreal to process what has happened. I’ve already seen so much support come out for the families and those affected by the shooting. Boulder is truly an amazing and resilient community.

Rest in power to:
🤍
Denny Strong 20
Neven Stanisic 23
Rikki Olds 25
Tralona Bartkowiak 49
Suzanne Fountain 59
Teri Leiker 51
Ofc. Eric Talley 51
Kevin Mahoney 61
Lynn Murray 62
Jody Waters 65

It’s extremely disheartening to see disgusting and minimizing commentary on this very real event that happened to innocent people grocery shopping and working. Whether that’s disregarding the event or criticizing the victims in video footage. Fear is paralyzing and everyone responds to sudden traumatic experiences differently. Yet just like I’ve seen time and time again, there are people who will project how they would respond to an incident they have 0 real life experience with. We can collectively do better than feed into this for the sake of the lives lost.

I pray for our Boulder community and the families affected by this event. 🤍
