Congratulations, Anna Tsouhlarakis! Only 56 artists were selected to be in the Whitney Biennial, a world-renowned art show, and she is one of them. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ† The sculpture chosen to be in the biennial is called โ€œSHE MUST BE A MATRIARCH.โ€ It was first shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art in 2023, as a part of a solo exhibition by Tsouhlarakis called โ€œIndigenous Absurdities."

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ โ€œIt's a piece that I'm very proud of, I think it speaks to different audiences in different ways.โ€ - Tsouhlarakis

A&S NEWS: Can evolutionary rescue help even long-lived species from going extinct? ๐Ÿ“ฐ๐Ÿฆฌ

๐ŸŠ Two CU Boulder researchers are helping clarify how speciesโ€™ populations with longer lives can still adapt to a changing climate.

๐Ÿ† CU experts: Scott Nordstrom (PhDEBioโ€™23) and Brett Melbourne, a University of Colorado Boulder professor of ecology and evolutionary biology

Hellems is backโ€”and better than ever.

Reopening with a special ceremony today, Hellems is home to humanities departments such as English, history and more that shape the CU Boulder College of Arts & Sciences experience.

The renovations of the 105-year-old building focused on enhancements in its accessibility through classroom design and sustainability through reduced energy use.

Did you know that half of all first-year students take a class in this building? It's safe to say, many CU stories begin in Hellems. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค
