We are excited to offer an innovative look at our school. Instead of talking at you, we want to talk with you! We will start with a handful of parents (current, alumni, brand new, etc), teachers and administrators quickly introducing themselves and then you decide who you want to speak with to learn about Mack! There will be opportunities for you to share your family journey with those you speak with, if you choose. Our hope is that after this event you will be inspired to learn more and return to have a personal tour during the school day (if you haven’t already toured!) to see the real magic of the students and teachers in action!

During our Half Friday multi-grade Explorations, students from Kindergarten through 8th grade are getting their hands dirty together, prepping and planting garden beds, beautifying our campus, feeding the chickens and learning what it takes to care for the spaces we share.

Led by 5th grade teachers Farmer Jim and Dakota, it’s also a pretty great example of what happens when different ages learn side by side: older kids get to lead and mentor, younger kids jump right in, and everyone has something to contribute.

Growing plants, friendships and community—all at once. 🌻💚

🎨 There’s always something creative happening with MaryAnne!

Her love for **all things art-and all students-**comes through in everything she does. She encourages kids to experiment, get messy, try new things, trust their ideas and, most importantly, find the joy in creating. ❤️

🐉 Dragon Sighting! 🎸

We spotted Mack Class of 2024 alums Kora, Sally and Joshua making some noise on the local music scene!

Their band recently competed in the Youth Battle of the Bands, presented by Tier Two Live—and took 1st place! 🏆🎶

The win earned them a spot opening Lafayette’s Art Night Out on August 14. We love seeing our Dragons out there creating, performing, trying new things—and still showing up together. ❤️

Way to go, Kora, Sally and Joshua! 🐉🤘
