This month's discussion, featuring two CU faculty (GEOG Professor Tim Oakes and ECON Emertius Professor Robert McNown) will highlight the revisitation of nuclear energy as a means to solve our growing energy demand. Take note: Scholarship Options and Visa Deadlines! 💰📅

Need some financial aid to go abroad? IAFS students are eligible for Global Grants Scholarships worth up to $3000 per term! Learn more about how to apply for Global Grant Scholarships on the IAFS website and apply for the Spring semester by October 1st.

For students going abroad to Spain or Italy, take note of earlier deadlines for the Spring 2027 semester. Due to ongoing visa issues, the applications for many Spain programs have closed or will close very shortly! Similarly, programs to Italy begin closing as early as September 1st. If you are currently planning to visit either of these locations, ensure you meet all deadlines or risk having to alter your education abroad plans.
