Feeling so blessed and full. These are very long
deep-dive days into night, teaching a devoted cohort. They are a sweet, talented, skilled, powerful, funny group of apprentices. It’s been heartening to see them deepen themselves and grow and so generously contribute to their community. While I’m leading/teaching this training, we’re all here to learn, surrender and face death and beyond - dying into life, living into death. The winds have been intense here (literally and metaphorically) in Estes, with starry nights and rosy sunrises. All aspects of our time together - many Shamanic journeys, the food, our tears, stories, songs, connections with our allies and friends in ordinary and non-ordinary realms… has been profoundly nourishing. 🕯️🙏🏼🙇🏻‍♂️💫🌹Ometeotl!

Enormous amount of prep on every level to take Apprentices to the Y at Estes for 3 day retreat. This is their penultimate training on Death, Dying and Beyond (my favorite training to teach) of the one year apprenticeship in advanced shamanic studies. Grateful to Paula for flying here to assist, for Kaleigh also assisting, for a beautiful, windy drive to Estes today, for Katherine’s bouquets, for the haunting snow blowing on sun drenched Rocky.

Today was day 2 of 5 day training in fourth module of one year apprenticeship in advanced shamanic studies. And Maestra Paula is in the house!! Grateful to her for coming all the way to Boulder to assist me. Love my apprentices and grateful for their courage and commitment in taking this deep dive in such sacred work. Beautiful community/cohort growing in humor, grace, humility, ferocity, service.🌹🕯️🙏🏼 Oh, and Lupe is honorary apprentice, Maestra of Cuteness.

Here we are for another turn of the season Welcome Autumn. 🍂🍁🍂 Fall Blessings to all here in the Northern Hemisphere, and may your Springtime be blessed to all in the Southern Hemisphere. And Happy New Moon/solar eclipse. 🌚 A beautiful day of Ceremony in store. I have a big group coming for an Autumnal Equinox Ceremony this morning. Then dashing to prison to celebrate Autumn with the Native American women I volunteer for there, bringing them yummy treats, and having sacred ceremony outside. Then a fire ceremony tonight where I’ll give all the names held on my altar through the summer - prayers up for them.
So it’s time - time to step into the West direction. Time to let me know if you’d like your name on my altar through this Fall. Notice the beauty of change and all that falls to rest and compost.
