What began as a pilot program last year has blossomed into one of Kutandara's most joyful traditions. This summer, musicians ages **12 to 72** have come together to play Zimbabwean marimba, hand drums, hosho, and drum set—proving that music truly has the power to bring generations together.

Whether you've joined us at a concert this summer or have been meaning to catch us, this is your last chance to experience the energy, connection, and infectious rhythms of the Ambassador Band before the season comes to a close.

Come clap, dance, sing, and celebrate a summer filled with friendship, community, and music that brings people together.

Looking for a fun way to kick off your weekend? Join the **Kutandara Ambassador Marimba Band** for a free outdoor concert at **Scott Carpenter Park** this **Friday, July 17, from 4:30–6:30 PM**!

You'll find us **near the rocket ship**, filling the park with the joyful sounds of Zimbabwean marimba, hand drums, hosho, and more. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, pack a picnic, and enjoy an afternoon of vibrant music in one of Boulder's favorite parks.

Our Ambassador Band is unlike any other ensemble around—bringing together musicians ages **12 to 72** to celebrate the power of rhythm, community, and making music across generations. Whether you're chasing kids around the playground, relaxing in the shade, or dancing barefoot in the grass, we'd love to share this music with you.

Join the Kutandara Ambassador Marimba Band for an evening of joyful Zimbabwean music as we share our second pop-up concert of the summer. After an incredible inaugural season last year, our Ambassador Band has grown into a truly unique ensemble featuring marimba, hand drums, hosho, and drum set—and musicians ranging in age from 12 to 72!

There's something powerful about making music across generations. Different ages, different experiences, one shared rhythm.

If you're looking for an uplifting way to spend your evening, come tap your toes, dance a little, and celebrate the joy of community music with us. We'd love to see you there!

We're so excited to put down new roots at Friends School! From the moment we walked through the doors, it felt like a place where music, community, and belonging could flourish.

We can't wait to fill this space with the joyful sounds of marimba, laughter, learning, and connection—and to welcome you into our new home.
