CU Mock Trial

CU Mock Trial CU Mock Trial is an undergraduate student group at CU-Boulder combining elements of public speaking, law, and theater.

CU Mock Trial encourages students of all majors and interests to join our program. We participate in college mock trial tournaments all over the country, competing against teams of other students in trial simulations. Team members prepare both the Defense and Prosecution/Plaintiff sides of a fabricated case. Students can compete as an attorney and/or witness: (1) Attorneys deliver opening statements, conduct direct and cross examinations, enter evidence, make objections, and deliver closing arguments. (2) Witnesses testify in the case through direct and cross examinations. Mock Trial is a great way to participate in a fun, intellectually challenging activity!
